2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
5 cups milk
1 1/2 cup fresh chopped broccoli
3 tbsp green onion
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

| Instructions |
Melt butter in small saucepan; Stir in flour, salt, & pepper to create a paste
Heat milk in large saucepan
Add broccoli, onions, & butter mixture to milk and cook until vegetables are tender and soup is thickened
Add cheese and heat just until melted
