Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2-3 cans chicken broth
  • 6-8 boiled eggs
  • Instructions
  • Cook cornbread per package (8x10 tray); Crumble cornbread
  • Use butter to cook celery, onions, and bell peppers
  • Add eggs, celery, onions, & bell peppers to crumbled cornbread; Add salt, pepper, & sage to taste
  • Heat chicken broth; Pour into dressing making it a little soupy
  • Bake at 305 to 400 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes
  • Make gravy if desired

    Variations Add mashed fresh oyster with step 3 is desired.
