Nick went to his cousins’ (Tori & Spencer) birthday party which was a costume party. He wanted to be Superman but I searched for a few days with no such luck. He agreed to be Batman as long as he got gloves, so he was Batman with gloves at the party. He had a blast playing with his cousins (Tori, Spencer, Samantha, Jacob), meeting his newest cousin (Mia), uncles (Jr, Daryl, & Rene), aunts (Kim & Genia), and let’s not forgot MeeMaw and PawPaw.

Baseball Game
We went to another baseball game thanks to Debi’s work. We went to see the Frisco Rough Riders. Nick asked it Argie could come. At the beginning of the game, he said he thought he saw him at the game but he wasn’t playing. By the end of the game, he was disappointed that Argie hadn’t played. There were fireworks at the end of the game so he quickly forgot about Argie not playing. He also had a good time playing with Ms Chrissy. She would chase him and swing him around. He loved that.
Nick in Cubbies
Nick has started AWANA. He is in Cubbies. He wanted me to keep reading so he learned his first 2 week’s verses in the first week. He loves to say his Cubbie motto (Jesus loves us). Of course he always adds to the end “for the bible tells me so.” It is so cute. Of course he also likes that Mommy is his teacher. He calls her “Ms Mommy” in class since he is not suppose to call her Debi.
Debi’s hair cut
Debi cut 10 1/2 inches off her hair and donated it to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a company that takes donated hair and creates wings for child who lose their hair due to chemo or any other means. She didn’t expect her hair to be that short but in time she will adjust to the new hair do. Some people say she looks sassy. A coworker told her they must not know her because they should have said sassier. too funny!
Nick in Pre-Pre-school
Nick started in his new class which is pre-pre school. He says it is school not daycare. Ms Rosey keeps him in line. He is one of the younger kids in the class and could be the youngest. He is the smallest too.
Nick’s Yellow Belt
Nick took his Taekwondo test for his yellow belt decided. He passed! He still wants the tiger patch on his belt and Ms Raines told him to practice and he could take his test next time to get his yellow belt with a tiger patch.
Sold one and bought a new one
We sold Debi’s Sport Trac or as Nick called it “Old Yucky Truck.” We got a new 2009 Toyota Camry. Nick calls it Flo and calls Chuck’s truck Sarg. Not sure where the naming the cars came from but okay…
Board Breaking Clinic
Nick attended a board breaking clinic at his Taekwondo school. He broke 8 boards with his feet. All the kids had 5 boards to break. He ended up getting to break a few extra because he went to the head instructor’s line who can’t resist his cute smile.
Nick’s imaginary cousin Argie
Weeks after taking him to his first baseball game, Nick has an imaginary cousin named Argie. He is (as Nick puts it) “My baseball player cousin who lives next door named Argie.” Argie wears a big yellow shirt, big yellow shorts, big yellow hat, and big yellow flipflops.
First Baseball Game
We took Nick to his first baseball game. Rangers were playing and a group from the church went. Nick loved it.
