The Williamson's

As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country ~ Proverbs 25:25

She has a name!!!

We finally decided on a name for our little girl. You would think about waiting over 4 years we would have a name, but it wasn’t that simple. Her name is

Danielle MeiYing Williamson.

We would like to thank Debi’s co-worker, Jisheng, for helping translate our referral documents while China was on a holiday. We didn’t have to wait for their translation. We would also like to thank Auntie Wing for helping us with her Chinese name. We also can’t forget to thank Debi’s parents. Debi’s mom will be traveling with us and has endured all the shots and time off work to make the travel.

For the last 3 1/2 years, Nick has been calling her Baby Danni. He still has not budged from that name. He continues to insist that she looks just like him. They share something in common. They both have a birthmark, Mongolian Spot. Nick’s is on his lower back and her’s is on her ankle. They are about the same size too, based on the description in her paperwork and by the pictures of it. We will post pictures soon.

On October 12th, she turned 10 months old. We are still hoping to travel at the end of next month. We hope to have her home before she turns 1 year old or at least in our arms.

I am so excited for all of you! Nick will be the best big bro ever. Danni is so blessed to be in your family. I can’t wait to meet your little princess. This is truly answered prayers. We will continue to pray with you and for you through this entire process.
