Poor Danni is on day 5 of being sick. We originally thought her fever was due to teething because it was a low grade temp. At mid-night on Sunday morning, her temp was 104.2 so Debi gave her a bath and Tylenol. On Sunday, Debi took her to Urgent Care because Danni’s breathing was getting bad and she would not eat or drink. Danni was tested for RSV, flu, and strep throat. She was positive for RSV and flu. The doctor looked at her ears and she had an ear infection too. The doctor felt we caught it early enough that Tamiflu and antibiotics would help her and she would be better by the end of the week.
Danni didn’t have a temp all day Tuesday, but this afternoon it was back 102.5. We started the Tylenol/Mortin regiment so hopefully she will be better by Saturday. Our friends are throwing a party to celebrate her being home. We hope she is well enough to attend it. Her breathing is better and the pediatrician checked her ears and they are all clear. She just needs to get over the flu stuff now.
